Learn to Play Hockey
This Program focuses on early-level hockey skills and skating for players between 4 and 12 years old. No prior hockey experience is necessary, though full hockey gear is required, and we strongly recommend a certain level of skating proficiency.
Ages
Appropriate players 4 to 12 years old who have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Skate.
When
2 Session (Fall/Winter)
SESSION 1: 11/1/2026-1/10/2027
SESSION 2: 1/16/2027-3/14/2027
Saturday (Practices): 1:10-2:10pm
Sunday (Cross Ice Mini-Games): 8:10am*
*Sunday's times will vary based on rink/coach availability. Possible times: 7:40am-9:20am
Equipment
Skates, ice hockey helmet with a facemask (HECC Approved), shin pads, hockey pants, elbow pads, chest/shoulder pads, neck protection, gloves, and hockey stick are needed.
Jerseys
1 jersey is provided.
