Mite/8U
Central Mass Revolution Cross Ice Mite teams practice twice per week and play games in the NorthStar Youth Hockey League. The NSYHL was formed in the late 1970’s to offer local youth hockey players the opportunity to play in competitive league that’s conveniently located close to home as all games are played at NorthStar Ice Sports in Westborough, MA. All Games for Mite hockey are played 4 vs 4 in a half Ice format with intermediate sized nets for goalies and blue pucks. The league holds two parity round adjustments (October & November) to determine appropriate team placement to ensure competitive balance within each age division.
Ages
Open to players born in 2016 to 2019. All players will be evaluated and assigned to a CMRH team that participates in the Mite Level Cross-Ice North Star Youth Hockey League. Team rosters are selected based on age and overall skill to ensure competitive play at the appropriate level.
Where
All practices and games are held at Northstar Ice Rink in Westborough, MA.
Practices
Practices are typically twice per week, on Fridays, Saturday or Sundays.
Games
Teams will play between 22-25 NorthStar Youth Hockey League regular season games and playoffs. Games are on Saturday or Sunday and Monday school holidays.
Jerseys
All players will be required to purchase 1 jersey and will be provided a pair of socks.
Tournaments
One tournament is included with tuition. Please expect communications from your player's coach on details.
2023-24
MITES
Price is $1350.00
All players will be evaluated and assigned to a CMRH team that participates in the North Star Youth Hockey League (NSYHL). A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is due at the time of registration. (4) Monthly payments of $275.00 will be automatically charged to the account on file beginning July 1st with the final payment on October 1st.
2024-25
MITES
All players will be evaluated and assigned to a CMRH team that participates in the North Star Youth Hockey League (NSYHL). A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is due at the time of registration. (4) Monthly payments will be automatically charged to the account on file beginning July 1st with the final payment on October 1st. The full tuition cost (including deposit) will be communicated by june.
